The temptation was, he only had one temptation from the evil one, is curse God and die.
That was the one thing he could control.
And so I've always seen that as being a distinct difference between a trial and a temptation.
is that temptation is something you can control and either do or not do.
Trials are typically things that are happening to you.
And then you have to figure out, can I muster?
Can I get through this?
And that's exactly what happened in his life.
And the same thing happens to us.
And you know what I love about that too, Zach, is that because a lot of people say, well, you know, Job's not a real book.
It's an allegory, you know, about suffering.
And I'm like, no, because James referenced that he was a real guy.
They went through the real thing.
Which is why a lot of people think God is unloving and don't want to believe Him because they're like, well, He wants me to be perfect, and I can't be perfect.
He hates me.
Yeah.
And I thought about that when Zach said that.
