Because then you can address offensive tackle in the first round and then you can go back to the well again in the second round.

With the 14th selection in the 2024 Locked On NFL Mock Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Troy Fatanu, offensive lineman out of Washington.
This guy was a target for me coming into the draft.
He's got tackle guard versatility, but with those 34 and a half inch arms should quiet a lot of the concerns about him being able to play tackle at the next level.
Six foot three, though, maybe doesn't necessarily fit there for you.
But the thing that I really like about Fatano is that you have the choices, right?
The New Orleans Saints, they went in, they drafted Trevor Penning a couple years ago.
The experiment has not worked out thus far.
And so finding somebody that's got that guard tackle versatility when you have another guy that is starter quality and James Hurst already on the roster with that tackle guard versatility as well.
