You've got Chris Ballard, who went out and drafted Michael Pierce as a height, weight, speed type guy to kind of be that down-the-field explosive play type weapon.
Lack of route tree has really bothered him since he's come into the league.
Can't really separate with any level of consistency.
I think Brian Thomas Jr.
is a more dynamic player.
I certainly think that helps them as they look for putting a bunch of explosive weapons around a young quarterback in Anthony Richardson.
You like what that can do, particularly when now you're in conflict of, well, we got to play with our eyes in the backfield because we got to make sure that we are not letting Richardson get loose and carry the football.
We need all eyes on the quarterback.
And then you're really going to have the ability to space and manipulate zone coverages with some of this high weight speed that these guys have.
And then Powers Johnson, stylistic fit through the roof for a team that has always wanted to run the football.
You get a guy who has rare athleticism at 330 pounds to be an anchor in the keystone of your offensive line.
I agree with you.
