Not gonna go into the details but quickly realized uh when I saw the doctors that something that needed surgery and something that um I wasn't gonna be able to play through.

I think I was still a little delusional that I could could play through it until um after the surgery obviously and uh and yeah, uh emotional emotional in the moment.

I don't think you fully grasp it until a little bit later and then you can kind of

um, get your head around it and you know, some things in in life you can't control and and this is one of them.

The wrist was dislocated, so um a lot goes into that, ligaments and brakes and whatever whatever else.

I don't get into too too nitty gritty, but um I I should be back this time next year.

But I I don't wanna put a a timetable on it's uh it'll be rehab involved.

I mean it m it meant the world.

I I wasn't expecting it.

I was the day after my my surgery.

I was sitting on the couch with my wife and mother in law just watching and um and yeah, i i it it caught me off guard.

I was uh I honestly I was crying.

I think it was it was really emotional.

Yeah, you just feel it was so so much part of the team and and for them to do that in that moment uh meant a lot.

And and yeah, I'm gonna do with the team the the whole way.

Um acting like I'm playing but obviously not.

Um I think uh just before I answer, I think everybody in the playoffs on our team has been doing doing things outside of of their comfort zone or outside of the norm and a of a regular season, blocking shots, finishing checks, um playing in different situations. matched
