I think the average American feels like this is just a continuation of the Biden era that they didn't like very much.

And like they're not super excited about Trump, but like their life doesn't feel that different.

Because if you think about the biggest issues on the left.

that people get real fucking riled up about, they're not really affecting people day to day.

ICE isn't really affecting that many people day to day.

Gaza isn't affecting people day to day.

The only thing is prices, but prices were shit before.

So nothing new has actually happened to regular Americans who don't pay attention at all.

And I think Democrats have a massive blind spot with that point.

Because they act like, oh, my God, everything's falling apart.

It's all Trump's fault.

And the average person's like, dude, it was falling apart before when you motherfuckers were in control.

So why the fuck am I going to go vote for you?

And that, I think, to this day remains true, which is why I'm very concerned that we are heavily overestimating how well we're going to perform in this.
