I'd be like, I'm not betting on that.

There's things in it where it's like, there's really severe unintended consequences of universal health that nobody cares about, but will care about once they happen.

For example, what's going to happen to big pharma when this happens?

It's going to get fucking destroyed.

innovation gone almost every major medical innovation all the diseases that went from being like oh my god i'm gonna die to oh i just gotta take a pill and it's fine all of that innovation gets tremendously slowed down because the government is now negotiating directly with these companies going okay you took you three billion dollars to make this drug we'll pay you 10 times less than you were paying with private insurance and they'll be like no we're not doing that fuck it i'm not going to invest in this anymore

So the whole system of how we have really made major medical advancements gets fucking decimated.

So things like that, people think like, oh, poor Big Pharma.

Yeah, poor Big Pharma.
