Even though it was on your computer? I never once, I had one in-person class, but I never once went to class. So that was short-lived. Yeah. And then after that, I didn't really tell my parents that I wasn't doing school. Wasn't doing it. Yeah. Do they know now or do I have to cut that out?
Yeah. No, I came back from school. It was like November. And dad thought it was weird that I was there during the week the entire time during harvest because I was there helping every day. And he's like, oh, that's weird. He's never doing school or anything. He's just hanging out all the time. So then like the end of the semester, I was like, by the way, I haven't done like anything. Yeah.
my mom for like 30 minutes was like we're gonna get all of this done we're gonna get you caught up you can't do this my mom went into freak mode and then like after like yeah 20 minutes she was just like okay no this is not gonna work we can't do this yeah then i went to beatrice to do precision ag and i made it till spring break that's how you say it beatrice yeah it looks like beatrice doesn't it beet rice yeah i don't think i've ever said it out loud
No, because my classes were actually not doing too bad. I was trying a lot harder there and I like learning about the stuff a little more. And I thought it would be useful. But there was this one teacher... I like skipped her class once and it was like a checks and balances class. And she kept me after class and I had like a D I'd like an a minus or B something in that class.
I don't remember, but she kept me after class and like told me I was going to fail and all this. And then she became my new advisor, like right as spring break started. And it was just like a bad talk. Cause I was talking back and I was being a little just asshole basically. And yeah, no, she, um, I never went back after that. Never even got my sheets or anything from my room. Oh, really? Yeah.
They billed me like $62. Someone has Zach's sheets. Yeah. Someone has my deer blanket that I loved. But whatever. It's fine. It's probably on eBay right now.

yeah so you didn't go back after spring break you just go right back to the farm and just start helping there pretty much yeah I mean I told him I was like yeah I'm not going back I'm done I just want to I mean I was already farming at that point I had my first piece that first year it's only 27 acres but I was in the process of doing it you know already and yeah so I was like I mean I'm not learning anything at school I know I won't this is how I learn stuff by doing it and I have to make mistakes or I won't learn so
With my dad. Dad and I do a lot, and then we got our hired guy who's kind of an unsung hero of the farm. This is his 11th season with us, and Grandpa's still around, but he's just doing Grandpa things, you know, sweeping, sleeping, all that. So you want to take over the farm? Oh, yeah. I'd love to. I'd love to. I think it would be a great time. And I think it's a good life, too.

I lost it, man. I lost it. I like my alone life too much. It's really what it is. Anything disrupting it could ruin me. It does seem very, like, society's kind of gotten independent now.
No. And, like, my generation, too, like, I think we're all just sick of it because everyone kind of – everyone that's single now, like, after college is kind of going through, like, the same thing, like, dating apps. And then once you actually go out to, like, be at bars around other people, everyone's in their own little, like, stupid little cliques.
