I'm going to give you a very unpopular take.

I think democratic socialism is just not as popular as people think it is.

I think when you get out of the democratic, you know, the echo chamber that we're in and just talk to regular people, they are not a big fan of what's being pitched.

And I think you're seeing that that's a symptom not only in America as a broad level, but within the Democratic Party.

I do think you're right.

Some people are voting differently.

Just based on electability.

But I think those people are voting that way because in their day to day life, they're talking to people who are not Democrats and going, oh, shit, they do not want democratic socialism

No, I don't agree.

I think look, I think it's an easier framing, right?

Like democratic socialism is not like who cares what it is.

It represents revolution like that.

It's really people who want a revolution and people who just want somewhat better shit.

Like, I think that because we are in the place that we're in with making content and constantly hearing from people who follow us, we think that like everybody wants this big revolution in America and they just don't fucking want that.

Like a ton of people just want America to get a little easier and they don't want systemic breakdown.
