I said, hey, will you give me a lesson every day?

She said, no, I won't.

But my cousin, actually, Katie Spieler, who's a famous volleyball player in Santa Barbara and runs the East Beach Volleyball Academy.

I reached out to Katie and I said, hey, can I get a lesson?

She said, yes.

I said, can I get one every day?

She said, no.

But she said, my cousin will do it for you.

She introduced me to her cousin.

my now wife, who started giving me a lesson every day.

And we became dear friends.

And I gradually fell in love with her.

And then one day I told her I was in love with her.

And the rest is history.

And so we got married and then recently had a baby.

So I have a six-week-old hanging out just behind me.
