I think bringing uh traditional let's just say instruments to to the blockchain is is not a is not really a novel thought.
I think it's already here.
Big financial institutions like to do this a lot.
Um they make they like to make it seem like it's something more complicated than it is, but the the the usability of web two products or or traditional products will will only grow in the space.
Thanks for having me, Jackie.
Yeah, I think you know w what what a fun way to start the I know, like let's just go straight into it.
But but I guess I guess it's it's uh you know uh it's a good way to kinda talk about the the biggest I think um you know points of of of critical acclaim I I would say.
I I I think right now we're all already underway with you know kind of a reconsolidation of DeFi.
I think people have changed their behaviors quite a bit.
And it happens more at the consumer level than it does at the infrastructure level.
So a lot of teams are kind of repurposed what they're
They're working on in terms of security, uh making sure that you know users aren't making the same assumptions that they used to.
But at the same time, you know, the user base has drastically changed their own behaviors.
They've kind of gotten out of the more risky stuff.
They're starting to, you know, only stick to uh more centralized venues, that sort of thing.
I think until there's like more trust built in in uh DeFi.
Um and we're seeing that a lot with with you know consumer behaviors like across you know
different chains, different, you know, applications, that sort of thing.
Um and I think it's kind of an unfortunate reality that had to happen in order for people to really take the next step of, you know, DeFi seriously.
I think what it means for DeFi is that DeFi really needs to kind of get its act together when it comes to making the right trade off between security and then also having, you know, your own kind of accessibility in terms of uh you know, your own money, your own kind of uh financial livelihood.
