Um you know, I think in terms of y w what people might see in like
For for fintechs, it's a little bit different.
I think there's going to be more and more adoption of these kind of stable coins um and and trying to be as ahead of the curve as possible.
Um for players like us, it's going to be I think a little bit more nuanced, a little bit more um, you know, trying to be at the forefront and make the kind of necessary trade offs in order to to really service as much of the new economy as possible.
I think clarity gave us the best point of view on how banks think, mm-hmm, which is that they will try to defend they're very much like unions back in back in the day.
Where where they will very much try to defend as much as possible against a new innovation and then they'll capitulate and then try to like fast follow.
So, you know, JP Morgan is like actively trying to push down clarity at the same time, they're pushing Connexus to all their you know, clients in private.
Um, which is their own stable coin and you know, their own next uh uh network for uh for f for users who don't know about connexes that much.
Um but they have a lot of traction actually.
Um it's just not pri it's not private.
uh sorry it's not public um and and not not so publicly facing.
I think what it really will take is just as much network distribution as possible.
So if Visa's open standard ends up seeing, you know, as you know the the the right kind of distribution, I I think it it becomes a uh a a massive push for Western institutions to kind of start undertaking stable coins a lot more seriously.
I think also Circle ended up chipping away at at the stablecoins
lead quite a quite a bit in in the US and when Circle IPO'd and when companies really started and banks in particular started understanding what the model was, they started moving a lot faster.
Tether has always kind of been this more esoteric kind of um, let's say like non Western uh asset for a lot of banks and I think they haven't really taken it seriously.
But that's probably been the largest kind of uh global Euro dollar market for for
for you know, hundreds of millions of people globally.
So ironically that's probably been the most threatening in a in in a sense.
I think broadly speaking the the in and I've tweeted this a bunch of times, but the industry will massively consolidate around a few teams, a few very competent teams, and then it will expand again.
