We've been right about every single bet we've taken in the last, you know, since inception basically.
Um the annoying thing is sometimes those bets don't actually manifest in the right way.
So you could be right about something, but it's maybe not done in the best way.
Um but w one of the other things that we had a very clear thesis on was that we wanted nothing to do with an app, you know, uh building on like an ecosystem of apps.
Um it's a very deliberate decision.
We didn't want to create our own applications when it came to um, you know.
Like having like a new perp decks on our chain or having a new, you know, Ave market sorry, a new like lending market that wasn't Ave.
So we wanted the most generalized, very standard, very, you know, the cream of the crop kind of um ecosystem development.
And we wanted to focus on building our own applications instead, um, which is Plasma One.
And at the time this was kind of a contrarian view, and a lot of apps that that were working with us, they were like, No, you need to have like your own version and you need to
support us and do all these things.
And in hindsight, it we ended up being vindicated because now I think a lot of people are are coalescing around the idea that every single you know, like the chain itself is not going to be what brings the the the the billions of people.
It will be the applications that power them.
This has become obvious now.
Um and then also that, you know, the teams that are building the chain need to be the ones that are building the applications as well.
So Hyperliquid kind of started this trend, but I think it's, you know, kind of been the the the torch is being passed in a sense where teams are now really being pushed to build their own applications because they realize that, you know, ecosystem builders are not really going to be the cream of the crop in one sense and in another sense they have
you know, very little, you know, um
kind of keeping them around when it comes to any sort of ecosystem in particular.
So if they don't like working in base, they can move to mega ETH.
If they don't like Mega ETH they can move to Ethereum and so on and so forth.
