And it took a while.

Writing takes time.
Did some people say one thing and then somebody said something else and you didn't know who exactly to... Yeah, that's the challenge, is that at the end of all of this, there's only one person who knows and that's you.
And you have to follow your gut feeling.
It's a complicated process, to be honest.
And I think now when I do my next film, I'll be more cautious and just work with co-producing partners who can give their input on the script.
Write about something you know, about a pain you have.
Don't be afraid to be different.
And watch a lot of films.
Watch every film about the subject you want to talk about.
Because many filmmakers have done this before you.
How are you going to stand out?
It's so competitive out there.
There's a million, millions, million, million of films that apply to all those big festivals.
