Like when they made this film, they made 30,000 square feet of set and the cast and crew for the first couple of weeks were getting lost in it.
The last 20 minutes loses the run of itself.
But the handy cam work at the start had me extremely nauseous in the cinema.
I mean, the premise is we have a guy who has a hearing condition called hyperacusis, which means he's allergic to loud sounds.
And he's an apprentice piano tuner with Dustin Hoffman.
And Leo Woodall plays the apprentice piano tuner.
He unlocks, no pun intended, this tuner.
where he can unlock safes through his hearing.
So he gets involved in some nefarious dealings where he starts robbing safes in order to kind of pay off medical bills for a character.
It's quite good in a sense where it brought me back to the 2000s.
It has like crime, it has comedy, it has romance.
I would love this maybe as like a multi-part series.
A bit of a caper, but it has like good tension in it.
Like it reminded me of like Thomas Crown Affair, Whiplash and The Sound of Metal.
