And the problem is that putting it off can often make it worse.

And it also disproportionately affects young Aussies who may not have the savings, the private health insurance or the established relationship with a GP that older generations might have.

I do want to point out that there was a New South Wales government survey that found 72% of people are quite or extremely concerned about the cost of healthcare and 48% of adults are already cutting back on healthcare appointments.
