Here's what's making headlines this evening.
Socceroos star Christian Volpato has allegedly tested positive for cocaine during a roadside drug test in Sydney.
The 22-year-old, who represented Australia at the World Cup earlier this month, was caught speeding twice overnight, New South Wales police said on Friday.
Volpato was allegedly clocked driving nearly 50 kilometres an hour over the speed limit on Sydney's Anzac Bridge when police stopped him in the early hours of Friday morning.
Just two hours earlier, he was pulled over and fined for speeding.
At that point, he returned a negative alcohol breath test result.
However, during the later drug test, he returned a positive result for cocaine, police said in a statement.
A secondary sample of oral fluid was taken for further analysis and his international driver's licence was suspended for six months.
And today's good news.
A live music program designed for people with dementia is delivering real emotional, social and intellectual benefits.
That's according to a new study.
Northwestern University in the US state of Illinois launched what it's called a musical museum.
The program pairs hour-long concerts with historical lectures and post-concert social events for both patients and caregivers.
Familiar songs from participants' youth are woven into the concerts deliberately, with research showing music from adolescents can improve memory and reduce agitation.
Findings published in the Frontiers in Neurology journal showed program participants reported significantly improved mood, greater intellectual stimulation and stronger social connection.
One participant described it as a wonderful opportunity to expand our contacts with individuals undergoing similar experiences.
