Certainly the sort of more nationalistic ones will believe... Well, I heard that a lot of the population, basically most of the population, really feel like the islands should belong to Argentina.
Like there was some opinion poll made, you know?
So that would be one argument.
Then the proximity you mentioned.
But on the other hand, I've just checked, because I was curious about this, I've just checked, and Google says...
that the vast majority of the inhabitants speak English there.
That's the official language.
And apparently, according to Google, only 10% speak Spanish.
So I don't know.
There are people there, and they actually want to decide, right?
They have the right to decide.
And they were referenda in the past, apparently, and they decided that they wanted to stay within the British Empire.
But basically, this really crops up when there's a World Cup tournament because Argentinians and Argentinian fans and probably the players themselves, they use this issue as a fuel because they feel like they are justified, they are right, and they feel stronger about it than the English, I think, as well, since it's so close to them.
And they are not the ones owning it, so they feel the sense of injustice.
I think they use it as extra motivation to really...
beat England and to, to thrash them, you know, to show them, to show them at least in football.
And of course they also love football and they are really good at it.
And, and that's, that, that makes, okay, it's, it's, it's tough and it's sad and tragic, but also we have to say it makes for a great viewing as a football fan.
And, and really, as long as it's all done in a fair way and, and,
following the rules and everything, those games are iconic.
