I thought that I might have been barred within political parties from people coming on my podcast, but here you are.
Well, I like the opportunity to give someone a soundbite out of context in 12 months' time that gets used and weaponized against me, so I'm a bit of a glutton for punishment.

Well, welcome to the new media as well, mate. We're out here taking care of the mainstream media.
Yeah, I mean, that's the other point is, I mean, actually, I've said it before and I kind of scoff, but it's, I don't, it's just, I don't know. I just think there's sort of increasingly limited point in trying to plead your case with some mainstream news outlet that are really not interested in what's going on. They're just, you know, pitching where the line is. I think, you know, it's... What do they say? Who pays the piper pays the tune in mainstream media. They're hard organizations to keep running. They're expensive. And so I think they're more reliant than ever on advertising revenue. And I think we see it. Actually, I made that point the other week about... You know, I mean, they control a lot of the media.
This is a conspiracy theory now, by the way. This is the first one. Tick, bring this one up. Senator Antic said that the world is controlled by faceless pharma executives. But anyway, so, you know, you find that, you know, honestly, if you're picking up a newspaper in this country now, you're almost hearing directly from either government, big pharma, or the real estate business, really, because they're the main advertisers. I probably missed a couple in there. Someone will correct me. But that's, anyway, so, you know, that's not you. So, here we are.
And, mate, I actually talk about Big Pharma. I just had a homeopath on.

And I've also had a whole bunch of mates with severe PTSD go over and do psychedelics over in Mexico. Yeah, yeah. And, you know, you do a bit of digging into this stuff and homopathy and psychedelics, they can't be... Yeah. So if the big pharmaceutical companies can't patent it, it means they can't make money off it.
That's right.
And then they'll never put funding behind it for research. Yep. So the governments will never adopt it. Yeah. And also as well, sometimes big pharma, well, I'm assuming this is how it happens, they'll potentially lobby to the government, write the legislation and give it to parliament members to speak about in parliament house. No doubt. And yeah, but anyway... Or someone in between, you know, an in-between of some sort. I don't know. Mate, this homeopath, it was bloody interesting. Interesting to just sit down and talk with her for an hour and a half. Yeah, a whole bunch of my mates now are turning away from this pharmaceutical world that is doing nothing but... putting him deeper into the hole of pdsd for you know having all these um whatever their own prescription pills and stuff like that and i've had a couple mates now uh swear by going to mexico and doing psychedelics coming back and just being completely uh
Healed is the word, I guess. Well, this is the stuff Rogan was talking to Trump about, wasn't he? Yes. I would love to, if we can get a right-leaning government in to mirror what happened there and try and get it done in Australia.
I think COVID, honestly, was the turning point for me. I really honestly thought prior to that that everything was okay. Someone's looking after us, we're okay, everything. And that wasn't just pharma, that was across the board. All of our regulation, the whole system worked well.
