It was great. Thanks for having me. I'm really excited to have a chat and be in beautiful, crisp Adelaide.
Yeah, it was a cold morning. I got up this morning at about 4.30 and trained at the gym and it was five degrees.
Yeah, it felt that. I got off the plane and it was the... The steam coming out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love it in Adelaide, though. I love this sort of cold, crisp weather. It reminds me of the cold winter mornings when we were getting up where we used to live in northeastern suburbs. And I love it. Adelaide's nice like that. It's a good break from, you know, those northern type, northern towns up in far north Queensland where probably most of my listeners are. So if you are listening up in the area, shout out.

Yeah, that's it. that's it but um hey it was a really interesting reel that you did the other day where you spoke about angus taylor and you felt a little bit abandoned by that uh liberal party because they did a speech where they sort of just came out and attacked one nation and said a few other things so and that's where i watched on mike and i've known about uh or we've known about each other for quite some time but i thought that this is going to be a good chat so yeah welcome to two hours podcast
Thank you. Thank you. As I said, it's really glad to be here. Yeah, I'm really glad to be here. Yeah, look, I was so frustrated. You know, I think Angus Taylor and Jane Hume and the rest of the team, for that matter, a lot of them are out there working really, really hard and they're out there delivering speeches and travelling Australia and trying to convince the public, you know, to come back to the Liberal Party. I just don't understand what they think they're achieving by shouting down One Nation in that process. And I don't think that that's how they're going to get their voters back. And I don't think it's how they're going to convince Labor voters to come into their ranks. I was just so disappointed.
I didn't think a lot of that stuff needed to be said. And so I put out a reel saying, Angus, what are you doing? And I'd really like to see the Liberal Party take some responsibility and accountability for where they've stuffed up so significantly over the last 20 years. I think they're very, very quick to say One Nation are attacking us or One Nation are stealing our seats or One Nation are, you know, taking our voters back. But as I said to you before, Sam, One Nation haven't come and done that to anyone. They haven't come knocking on my door and said, hey, you better leave that Liberal Party scum and come over here to One Nation. I've just recognised that they are the ones with the conviction saying what I've believed my whole life, and it's the Liberal Party that abandoned those values.
So they've got to take accountability for what they've done and for abandoning their voter base.
Yeah, I went and did a speech with Antic on Monday night. And yeah, I just started off by saying, you know, the rise of or the movement towards One Nation is there's nothing really phenomenal about it. It's just a natural progression of people moving towards the right for someone that they used to stand for that the party they just left but you're right you know um net zero started under the liberals this climate change dysphoria started under the liberals the indoctrination of our kids nothing was done about it under the liberals um the sex discrimination act when julia gillard changed in 2012 wasn't changed when the liberals took power after that um you know 52 genders trans dysphoria all started under the liberals so
you know, none of the war crime allegations were shut down under Liberals. It's like, you guys got a fair bit to answer for, you know that.
And it goes even further than that.
