All right, so welcome back to another episode of Two Worlds Collide podcast, the monologue format, with me, your host, Sam Bamford. Now, on my last monologue that I uploaded Thursday night... I remember uploading and watching the whole thing back and thinking, man, you're going to sound like a complete moron when you continually say CSG when you really meant CGT. So to everyone out there that picked that up as well, thank you for picking up. Thanks for reminding me. But when I did the episode and I was watching it back before I uploaded, I thought to myself, shit, I'm not going to go back and do another 55 to an hour long monologue because Because these aren't scripted or rehearsed at all. I literally just have four or five talking points here and I just give it.
I give it my all. And I made a few mistakes in there and I'm thinking to myself, well, it's getting uploaded anyway because everyone makes mistakes and we're all humans. So at the end of the day, I uploaded it. Damn it, I'm going to have to blur that out because you cannot swear in the first 10 minutes of a YouTube video. Otherwise, they throttle your post. So no swearing for the first 10 minutes. But yeah, I thought I'd upload it anyway because we're all humans, we all make mistakes. Now, thank you for those who listened in. I got an amazing, fantastic response, a lot of likes on YouTube. I think this thing can really grow. I think this monologue version, longer format version of me speaking directly to the camera can grow.
I have almost not mastered it because no one really masters anything, but I got really good at it on the three-minute versions, on the three-minute formats on social media. I've grown my social media to get hundreds of thousands of followers and millions and millions of views every single month. So I thought to myself, if that's so popular on social media, why can't I be so popular on YouTube with it as well? Why can't I sit here and just speak about with me being the only person in the room like I do on my short form for an hour to an hour and a half every second or third day and put it out on Spotify and YouTube. So here I am. Here I am trying to now master this and now perfect it. And a way of perfecting saying and mastering saying is admitting where you went wrong.
And I went wrong on the last episode where I kept saying CSG instead of CGT. So apologies for that, but I ain't getting better. But on today's episode, welcome back. Thank you for coming. This is my big one, the Sunday night release. It's a hot time for people to be on YouTube. Spotify people will be able to listen to this on Monday morning, get their dose of the last few days worth of news. And we have some big topics to cover, really big topics to cover. I'm getting sick to death of politicians doing TikToks, 21-year-old senators, elderly boomers that should probably be out of politics given their age and they're dancing in Parliament House like something's funny in this country. They're dancing in Parliament House like there's no homeless people on the streets.
They're dancing in Parliament House like everything is okay. So I'll be talking about that. I'll also be talking about how Julia Gillard walked her comments back about changing the Sex Discrimination Act in 2012. There's a clip that we're going to watch there. And there's a few clips that we're going to watch throughout this entire monologue. We're going to talk a little bit about Hastie. And it's almost like the Labour Party are now trying to groom him for the next PM. Getting behind him with standing up against One Nation. It's pretty pathetic to be honest. If you're on the right side of politics, the enemy is over the other side. You shouldn't be siding with them. about your position with a political party on your side of politics.
Like Andrew Hastie wouldn't side with the Greens over Labor. It's pathetic, man. And it's actually pathetic watching the machine and watching the cogs try and turn to destroy One Nation. Everyone is against them now. It's pathetic. But I'm not surprised.
