楚山秦山[1]皆白云，白云处处长随君。长随君，君入楚山里，云亦随君渡湘水。湘水上，女萝衣，白云堪卧君早归。〔注〕[1]楚山：这里指今湖南地区，湖南古属楚疆。秦山：这里指唐都长安，古属秦地。这首诗是唐玄宗天宝初年，李白在长安送刘十六归隐湖南时所作。诗八句四十二字，因为其中不少词语的重沓咏歌，便觉得声韵流转，情怀摇漾，含意深厚，意境超远，应当说是歌行中的上品。这首诗的引人处首先在于一股真情扑人。诗人送刘十六归隐是饱含着自己的感情的，甚至不妨说，是借刘十六的酒杯浇自己的块垒。
