Well start with the end in mind. Um I I won't certainly be at a club next year. Um so where that takes me next, um I'm not too sure. There's certainly been a lot of conversations um between obviously finishing at Carlton to now. Um and some of it's just been able to just take my time, just have coffees with a lot of people and find out where my next passion is.

I'm fifty one years of age. Um the next decision's a really big one for for me. So um but what I have come to the conclusion of and I've spoken to to a couple of clubs um was that it feels right for me not to be at a club next year in in any sort of in any sort of role. Um I'd like to be able to to step aside and do something else. It's been Thirty-five years in this environment, thirty-five years in high performance sport, come in and out a couple of times, but largely thirty-five years of uh living in the furnace.

And uh I just wouldn't mind what it
looks like a little bit outside of that, just at least for now. Just the last one on that.

Have you closed the door on being a senior coach again in the future? We see Ken Hinckley, who's almost sixty, who's walking back in the door at another club. Well, my situation's a bit
different. I I felt like my goal at it was to go back and lick my wounds and and go to Port Adelaide and sort of learn my craft and um go to work on myself as a as a coach to give myself the next opportunity. So I always felt like whenever the day came that you know the Carlton job finished, whether that was you know it turned out this year, but if it was in two years, three years, four years time I I sort of I guess in the back of my mind felt like it'd probably be the last time that to have a go at coaching. Um, maybe different roles, but but certainly coaching it come to an end.
Could Voss pursue high-performance roles instead of coaching?
Um and then you be sort of become passionate about high performance and and what you want to be able to see other teams succeed and um and you know, sort of grow a list or grow a program um in behind the scenes. Um but it will weigh that up in in the future. But for right now it's certainly feels the right time to step away for a period of time and and go do something different.
