In today’s show, we speak with Data Scientist Jane Delaney. At time of recording, Jane was a Data Scientist at Johnson Controls and has since moved into a new role with Laya Healthcare. From optimizing building performance to improving safety and enhancing comfort, Johnson Controls drive the outcomes that matter most. During her time with Johnson Controls, Jane worked on the development of machine learning algorithms for smart building security systems, as well as projects within Anomaly detection, noise suppression, clustering, NLP, risk analysis and time series forecasting. She also worked with software engineering teams to translate newly developed models into scalable cloud microservices.
