Plagiocephaly is a flat spot on one side of the head, while brachycephaly is flatness on the back of the head. Physical therapy can address the root cause of head shape issues and sometimes avoid the need for a helmet. ⁣✅ There's a correlation between 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚, 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬, which can impact 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. She is a pediatric physical therapist and certified breastfeeding specialist. Dr. Hope services patients birth-5 years of age. Dr. Hope completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) with a major in physiology and minor in chemistry. She then went to obtain her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, CA graduating with high honors. It is her extensive background in dance and love for everything Disney that gives her the ability to make movement fun for all her patients and families that she services. Dr. Hope is most passionate about ensuring that families feel confident about their child’s development and wellness. She loves to be a part of a collaborative team to offer the most updated and integrative approach to her patients and families. Dr. Hope is trained in several manual therapy approaches to relieve fascial strain within the body for optimal motor and airway development. Dr. Hope brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients and families while providing a holistic approach to meet the families
