100 years ago, there was one way to find a supportive community if you suffered from alcohol-use disorder. A group of white, Christian males got together and helped each other and, eventually, many more alcoholics. When they wrote a book, they even added a chapter for the long-suffering wives of such men. Today, there is more than one way to change our drinking habits. Alcohol-Free Lifestyle is one of them.
