This episode of On Our PRST with Ryan Russell is a special one--we get to hear an inspiring story of building Twenty Over Ten, a company focusing on building modern and stylish websites for financial advisors, by following his passion for design. In addition to helping build Twenty Over Ten to a company purchased by FMG Suite, Ryan is also a tenured professor at Penn State University, a designer and consultant, and more importantly a husband and father to three. In the second part of the conversation, we move beyond Ryan's passion for design and building Twenty Over Ten to the shift in priorities due to a recent medical diagnosis--a grade 4 glioblastoma. Ryan shares how he processed the news, how it shifted his focus, and what he realized was the most important aspect of his life. This is just the first time Ryan and I will chop it up on the podcast. I will be making a trip to Pennsylvania to record with him in person after he finishes his treatments and is victorious over his glioblastoma.
