Wise Words From A 25 Year Old Cab Driver | Monday Motivation

On a recent trip to New York City I lucked into hopping into Salah's cab at LaGuardia Airport and was treated to an inspiring conversation with him about his decision to leave Algeria at the age of 24 to go to NYC where he had a friend that was living there. His perspective on the opportunities in front of him in the US and his optimism about how he would continue to improve his life was inspiring to say the least. When we arrived at my hotel we made arrangements for him to pick me up the next morning for my return trip to LaGuardia. That night as I thought about our conversation earlier in the morning I decided I was going to capture some of Salah's story with my camera and make a Short about the risk he took to improve his life.
