In the latest episode from our 'All Villans' series, Roisin and Frankie meet the co-founder and participants from the Midnight Ramadan League in Birmingham. The Midnight Ramadan League was originally set up with help from the Aston Villa Foundation and has recently been promoted in a FIFA 21 advert by video game maker EA Sports. It was created to give Muslims somewhere to play football during the holy month of Ramadan after they had broken their fast at night, though anyone is allowed to take part in the League. Frankie spoke with co-founder of the Midnight Ramadan League, Obayed Hussain, who explained how and why he set it up. Roisin also travelled to one of the midnight games where she spoke to players from the League and a member of Villans Together, an official Aston Villa fans for diversity group.GET IN TOUCHTwitter: @VillaNoFillerInstagram: @allvillanofillerFacebook: All Villa No FillerEmail: [email protected] Hosted on Acast.
