Hello [First Name] “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” - Hilary Cooper One of my all-time favourite quotes, and one I’ve found rather appropriate for this week’s PPMP Podcast topic at hand: Celebrating success. After speaking to quite a few of you in the last couple of weeks, as well as scrolling through social media, I’ve noticed a trend: “Bring on 2021!” “Oh my God, let’s just get this over with because I’m checking out of 2020.” “2020...what a ride off...what a waste...what a total disaster of a year…” Of course, I’m not going to deny what a remarkably challenging year 2020 has been, but I personally could never write off an entire year. No matter how much despair and hardship a year may bring, the speed bumps along the way are what make the year more interesting. 2020 has been a year packed with reflection, opportunity, creativity, and all sorts of fascinating experiences. And that’s exactly why this week’s episode is all about learning how to celebrate your personal success, team success, and business success. Before listening, though, I urge you to take out your notepad and jot these questions down: What did you gain and learn from 2020? Where have you succeeded personally in your life? What kind of standout moments have there been with your team in 2020? How can you wind things back and check in more on business milestones? Those are just some of the questions I leave you to ponder over in the episode, but you’ll have to listen to get the full picture. Make celebration a part of your business and team rhythms. Make it meaningful, genuine, and a little anticipated as well. Looking back on 2020 doesn’t have to be all doom-and-gloom. Instead, make sure you are acknowledging the personal triumphs, team successes, and business victories you’ve had along the way. Now I want to hear from you... How will YOU celebrate your personal, team and business success? Nacre Links: Website LinkedIn Twitter Facebook Instagram PinterestSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
