For more information, visit Bloom Healthcare Sam Smith Sam is an Exercise Physiologist who has been in the Occupational Rehabilitation/ Injury Management sector for approximately 15 years as well as more recently having 4 years experience within the disability sector. Sam founded Bloom Healthcare in April of 2021, since which time it has grown from a small business of 2 people, to that of a multi-disciplinary team of 80 across 5 states within Australia. Sam is a respected leader within his field and has a passion for helping his staff learn, grow and develop. Sam is innately driving by helping people from all demographic backgrounds, hence formed the vision of Bloom Healthcare. The fundamental goal is to be a provider of choice through having a clinically robust foundation to allow staff apply their trade to provide the best opportunity to achieve the desired outcome. Sadhana Gounden Sadhana is a General Psychologist with an Educational and Developmental psychology background. She has written two theses whilst attending Monash University in Melbourne. One of her areas of research involved applying video feedback techniques with adults on the Autism Spectrum to teach vocational skills. Her second research endeavour focussed on Mindfulness in school aged children. Sadhana has had experience working across a diverse range of settings including schools, hospitals and within the community. She has worked to support individuals across the lifespan and a diverse range of presentations including but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, BPD, ASD, ADHD, ID, Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety and CPTSD. Sadhana operates within a person-centred approach with her clients and favours a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy framework. Sadhana began working in the NDIS space over 3 years ago and felt an immediate sense of resonation. She now continues to work with a range of clients in Melbourne where she is building a multi-disciplinary allied health team and is also supporting a national team of psychologists at Bloom Healthcare to achieve their professional goals.
