And if you're a little confused. The Family. Of the woman who was murdered in that whole saga. Ain't laughing at Robes. This this is uh a little bizarre. She's free to do what she wants, but this was interesting to hear that this is what Amanda Knox has been up to.
Look, bizarre is a good word to use because anyone who has followed this story from its inception, um, which is back when she was Falsely imprisoned um for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kircher back in two thousand seven, but the name of the comedy show reflects some of the bizarre behavior she was accused of initially, which led to a lot of people believe her arrest doing that cartwheel. in the hours after her mur her friend was murdered. Her roommate was murdered. Oh, absolutely. We talked about it ad nauseum on the on at least we're I I think I was at the Today Show at the time and it was a big deal because how strange. You've got your roommate has been viciously murdered. in your home and police are there and it's shocking and it's scary and what do you do?

You're being questioned, your boyfriend's being questioned, and it just seemed like a strange thing to do. She described it later, I believe, as just a release, basically. Um, but still it was something that actually a lot of folks pointed to as part of her behavior that led to her arrest. And ultimately her conviction, because she wasn't behaving the way people expected someone to behave when their roommates just been murdered.
Uh well the show is called Cartwheels. She says a play or a reference to that uh story, which was just a reported story, a rumor, something came out of the Italian police station. She did a cartwheel. That's what the claim is, and that's why she's able to make a play on that infamous story.
