In this episode, Christian Esguerra talks about how cities in Metro Manila are dealing with this alarming surge in COVID-19 cases-- more than 8,000 new infections reported in the country on Monday alone. On social media, many are pinning the blame on the government's pandemic response led by President Rodrigo Duterte who recently described this raging pandemic as "a small thing." He is then joined by one of the convenors of a broad opposition coalition seeking to put an end to a Duterte-style leadership by beating his candidate of choice in next year's presidential election.
