Special counsel asks judge to limit Trump's public statements in federal election subversion case

Special counsel Jack Smith has asked U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan to limit former President Trump’s public statements in the federal 2020 election interference case against him. A newly released court filing reveals that prosecutors want a court order limiting what the former president can say.
