The commissioners who run the College Football Playoff have agreed on a revenue split and a TV deal for the CFP beyond 2026, but they haven’t settled on a format. The 14-team model commissioners had proposed is not a sure thing because ESPN doesn’t want to pay more for additional games.Now it’s time to talk about a postseason tournament that knows what it is.
