Happy Thanksgiving! Today podcast is with TJ West who found his inner vision while legally blind.  He has his own podcast called My Blurred Opinion. He is a disability and mental health advocate. TJ shared his years of being bully and abused that still can get him down at times, but has found ways to keep his spirit up. He nearly died twice.  Once from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome that caused his blindness and through dark times he made pact with himself to either choose to live fully or die. He decided he wanted to live. He discusses what gets him through the day: 1. Having Good people around him. Space to share stories Responsibilities to advocate for other and speaking up. His podcast gives him purpose and meaning Therapy to understand his inner anger and feel wanted and heard for the pain he has experienced. Being Appreciative of want he has. Persistence with Purpose.
