14 Jun 2024
Given the complexities of home health practice today, establishing or expanding a PT student affiliation program could be viewed by some as burdensome. This podcast was designed to address the challenges, as well as to highlight the many benefits of working with students in the home setting. Our guests describe students as often bringing new energy and enthusiasm to the agency. By exposing students to the home setting, agencies may experience a greater ease with recruitment of future new staff. Practicing PTs may feel inspired to optimize their individual performance as they offer training and mentorship to the future of their profession. Listeners can expect to walk away with several valuable takeaways to consider when developing or growing an affiliation program.
