From Mountains to Buddhism and Mindfulness to the Conscious Classroom: An Interview with Amy Edelstein
18 Apr 2022
In this episode, I talk with Author, Educator, and the founder of the non-profit Inner Strength Education Amy Edelstein about her book "Adventure in Zanskar: A Young Woman’s Solitary Journey to Reach Physical and Metaphysical Heights" and her experiences with the region's culture and their practice of Buddhism as well as the importance and relevance of mindfulness. We also talk about having clear visions for the future, especially in the face of suffering and turmoil, the need for practicing and cultivating a sense of freedom aligned with care and compassion, and what makes a "conscious classroom" in our modern era.
