In this episode of Ramblings & Takeaways, I take on the Oscars 2022, which has now become historic and infamous and feels like a slap in the face! Moreover, I provide some reflections on the main incident as well as some of its repercussions. One of the most noteworthy consequences of the fallout has been that it has overshadowed the accomplishments of various talented actors, actresses, filmmakers, and films as well as a higher level of inclusion and diversity across the board. At the end of the program, I provide the three main takeaways from the Oscars 2022, which include thoughts on violence, the state of Mental Health of celebrities as well as including and giving a voice to those who cannot speak.
