Latest Thoughts about Black Lives Matter and America (Livecast 6/09/2020)
09 Jun 2020
I, like most of you, have had so many thoughts and feelings surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement, yet none of them are regarding the validity of those words. So much other stuff has come up with it; white privilege and guilt, police brutality, hysteria, group think, virtue signaling, 'systemic' everything, "White silence is violence", voting for trump making you a racist, breakdown of decency and discourse, cognitive errors, slander, hubris, self righteousness, backwards mantras, Martin Luther king, mother Theresa, nelson Mandela, riots, protests, defunding the police, and so much more. I dive in here, hesitantly, and with all the humility I can muster. (An amount that I hope is growing in me) I hope you'll listen with the Omega principle, that you'll give me the benefit of the doubt. We gotta stay in right relationship with one another if we're to make any kind of progress here.
