Each effort to uncover harmful and unethical business practices - such as environmental degradation, unfair or unsafe working conditions, and modern slavery ā increases the challenge for procurement and supply chain professionals increases. One such example, the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, takes effect on June 21, 2022.
