artchatter with Gaynor Leverett-Jaques & Karen George

28 - a hammock of one's own

13 Jul 2022

Description

Phew! Well, we're back. We hope you enjoyed the recommedations we offered last week. While we're on the subject, do let us know if you have any tips on what we should all be listening to (as  well as artchatter of course!).  So, thiiiiiis week, Karen and I are chattering on the back of taking part in an arts trail in Bristol. Good lawwwd our (my!) insecurities rose to the fore, (the smack of imposter syndrome hit hard and OMG everyone else is soooo talented!) and we really had to take it one step at a time and embrace the support of friends (old and new). Which once again flags up the absolute necessity of building your own community... it really is important! Spoiler alert: it was lovely!
