29 - finding the lesson

20 Jul 2022

Description

You've done the work, turned up to the event, set up in the searing heat or the pouring rain. Your display, exhibition, stand (tick appropriate) looks amazing. Your chest swells with pride that you've made it, you charge up your payment machine, check your phone speaks to it.   YOU ARE READY, open up the doors ...and wait.   So, after all that, what do you do when the sales are a bit slow, footfall is quiet - or non-existent?  Well, let's talk about that. Good or sloooooow, there's always something to do better for next time; it's time to analyse. Thanks so much to everyone for sharing the podcast. We'd love it if you'd share and follow so other arty types find us too.  Links artwork credit: Photo by Piret Ilver on Unsplash Gina Belford https://www.ginabelfordart.co.uk/ Stiffy Bags Julia Maleeva About the podcast  Gaynor Leverett-Jaques and Karen George are both full time artists, living and  working in South West of the UK, sharing experiences and the ups and  downs of living the painty life!
