The Act's primary focus is on preventing harm to the health, safety, and fundamental rights of individuals, a sentiment echoed by Breton when he stated that the agreement resulted in a "balanced and futureproof text, promoting trust and innovation in trustworthy AI."One of the most significant aspects of the EU AI Act is its approach to general-purpose AI, such as OpenAI's ChatGPT.
