108. How Samantha Cox went from 0 to 100 in 3 months

This week’s episode features up and coming muralist in Marshfield, Missouri, Samantha Cox. I’ve have been waiting about 3 months to record this episode with her and I could not be more excited to now call one of my dear friends a full-time artist. Just a bit of a background, Samantha and I have known each other for about 8 years now, and I made it my mission to have her go full time in her art business just recently. I’ve always hinted at it with her and actually episode #25: If You’re Multi-Passionate, Listen Up! revolved around a conversation I had with Samantha when she was trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. I knew she wanted to do art full-time but she didn’t believe it was possible. Things happened in the past couple months to really push her towards now having a job she loves. We do our best to dissect exactly how she got here. Truthfully, I told her this a few months ago but I was looking for someone that I could mold into this role so that I could show other potential students what’s possible. She’s a great example of someone who dove into the Academy and put everything into action and is now reaping the benefits. If this doesn’t convince you to start painting murals, then I don’t know what will.
