166. Mural Commissions via Home Shows with Michael Beenenga

This week’s episode features Colorado based muralist Michael Beenenga. I really liked this chat with Michael. He’s well spoken, knowledgeable, and so willing to share exactly how he’s getting mural jobs via home shows. I think this strategy is genius. He explains everything from how to find these shows to how you can set up and present your painting services. He’ll let you know how to get leads and then what to do with those leads to turn them into jobs. I just want to reiterate that the leads you get at home shows are the big customers we want! Yes, there’s a fee to enter a home show but sometimes you have to spend money to make money. If you want something that doesn’t cost money then go make a listing on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. See how well that works and what kind of customers you get from there. You gotta pay to play in the big leagues so whenever you’re ready to take a step up then maybe consider listening to what this episode is all about.
