170. Traveling Artist Sylvia Hecht

Every Monday I interview some of my amazing Artist Academy students to get to know them better and give direct advice on their art business. Today I was chatting with Sylvia Hecht who has a very unique story so I thought I would share it with you. We talk about the ways she’s gotten work abroad or has traded murals for things like free stay at hostels and Air BnB’s. She has some really good tips for having that trade conversation and we talk about getting jobs in general when you’re just starting out. This is a fly on the wall listen to a coaching call and I know as a beginner artist this call would appeal directly to me. I love travelling and experiencing new cultures, and I’m currently working on the possibility of our next Mural Meetup being a trade abroad experience.
