201. Attracting Collectors with Anastasia Trusova

This week's episode features Belgium based painter Anastasia Trusova. My artist friend Shannon Joy referred Anastasia to me, who prefaced her introduction as "This is the artist I most admire. Her style, way of life, everything. This is what I want to accomplish too". When I reached out, I had no clue that Anastasia couldn't speak English, which made this interview very interesting. She volunteered her gracious husband to translate, and we gave it a shot. This gives you a look at what artists from across the world are doing to make money as a creative. It's funny because the tactics are very similar, specifically, the strategy to donate a painting to meet future collectors, much like I suggest doing with live painting at charity banquets.
