This week’s episode features Artist Academy Advanced student Meg Wagler. Meg has been a student for several months and just recently has taken the leap out of her comfy 9-5 position working for another company as an illustrator into the independent contractor life of a muralist. I first met Meg about 6 months ago or so when she reached out and asked to meet up and shadow me on the job for the day. I of course said yes and brought her on the job with me to teach her everything I knew about setting up for a mural because she had just gotten her first mural gig and wanted to be prepared. Meg isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants and if you take away anything from this interview, I want it to be that. Meg is transitioning into a full time muralist and a big reason for that is because she had the courage to ask for what she wants and now she’s getting it. Let me know what you think about this week’s episode with Meg Wagler.
