8. Mural Master: Adam Wolken

Adam Wolken is my first male artist on the show and he set the bar pretty high. Adam and his brother, Aaron, painted a large part of the famous Wonders of Wildlife Museum which was recently voted America’s BEST aquarium. These guys know what they’re doing with a paint brush and if you don’t know who they are, a quick google search will show you plenty of examples of their highly impressive work. I loved getting to talk to Adam. He really is just such a nice, genuine guy and seeing some of his work in person, really, it just blows me away. He opens up a lot in this episode about the art business and how a past experience helped him to not take being able to paint for granted. I love how when I ask for one answer to a question he really gives me five or more answers and lets us all in on what it’s like to be a professional muralist.
