Episode 13 - Jean Fruth - Sports Photographer and Visual Storyteller

Jean Fruth is a Northern California based sports photographer, author and co-founder of the non-profit Grassroots Baseball who has specialized in visual storytelling across the United States and the World. Grassroots Baseball promotes the sport with the goal of growing interest and participation in the game at the youngest levels. Jean's books, Grassroots Baseball: Where Legends Begin and Grassroots Baseball: Route 66, are complete with terrific photography and backstories of the images. She has been recognized by camera manufacturer Sony as an Artisan of Imagery. Jean's work has been featured in such prestigious institutions as The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, the Smithsonian and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
